What to expect during a wrestling class?

Every wrestling session at Powerhouse 040 follows a clear structure. We start with a warm-up to get your body ready. After that, we move on to the technical part of the training where we work on grips, throws and holds. You practice these techniques in pairs so you can immediately apply the movements in practice.

In addition to technique, plenty of time is spent on strength, conditioning and endurance. Our trainers guide you step by step, pay attention to your posture and give tips whenever needed. This way you always get the most out of your training!

Our martial arts area in Eindhoven

Our martial arts room is spacious and well organized with everything you need for a complete wrestling training. You’ll train on a safe mat specially designed for rolling and sparring, so you can practice techniques without risk.

In addition, we use professional equipment and our coaches make sure everything is prepared before the class starts. This way you can fully focus on your training.

Wrestling isn’t just for adults. Young people can also get to know this martial art in a safe and structured way at our gym. For children from the age of 12, we offer special youth classes where technique, strength, resilience and discipline are the main focus.
