Muay Thai at Powerhouse 040 in Eindhoven

Muay Thai is a combat sport that originated in Thailand and is known there as “Thai boxing”. The difference between Muay Thai and regular boxing is that in Muay Thai you don’t just use your fists, but also your knees, elbows, and legs. This makes the sport significantly more intense and challenging than regular boxing.

At Powerhouse 040 in Eindhoven, Muay Thai is not just about sparring, but it’s also largely about technique, strength, and conditioning. You learn the right movements step by step under the guidance of experienced trainers. Although the classes are challenging, they are safe and also suitable for beginners.

Muay Thai is suitable for anyone who wants to work on their fitness. Whether you’re a beginner or already have experience with combat sports like Muay Thai, at Powerhouse 040 you always train, with guidance, at your own pace and level.

Do you want to become stronger, feel more confident, or are you simply looking for an intense sport that engages your entire body? Then be sure to try a Muay Thai trial class at Powerhouse 040 in Eindhoven.

At Powerhouse 040, you follow Muay Thai in an energetic and accessible environment. Our trainers help you step by step to learn the right technique, while you work on your fitness and strength at your own pace.

You train in small groups with lots of personal attention and a great atmosphere. Whether Muay Thai is new to you or you already have some experience, at Powerhouse 040, you’re welcome at every level!

Just like with all other sports, there is a risk of injury, also with combat sports like Muay Thai. However, the national average of injuries is much lower than in many other sports.

That’s why it’s important to pay close attention to safety guidelines and to seek professional guidance when starting with Muay Thai. At Powerhouse 040 in Eindhoven, you train with a certified instructor and club. Also make use of protective equipment such as mouthguards, gloves and groin protectors.

You don’t need much to join Muay Thai classes at Powerhouse 040. Wear comfortable sportswear and bring a bottle of water. Boxing gloves and other materials are available at our gym. If you train more often, you can of course bring your own gloves.

For combat sports like Muay Thai, we also recommend using a mouthguard and optionally a groin protector. For Fitboxing classes, protective equipment is not necessary.
